Print and Pollards

Printing has played a pivotal role in human history as the first mass communication technology, revolutionising societies and economies through the spread of knowledge and ideas. The Pollard family began printing in 1781, and the business has continued to evolve and provide print services ever since. Although many early records of William Pollard & Co Ltd were lost during the Exeter Blitz of 1942, historians and researchers have helped piece together the company’s story — a story that continues to grow with every new discovery.
